A. Due to legalities in many countries you must inform us if either of you have changed your name by deed poll, been adopted, married before or Widowed. Generally this is not an issue, but you will need to provide proof of either your divorce or bereavement. Depending on the requirements of the country you choose, you may need to obtain this documentation from a solicitor before traveling. We will guide you if this step is necessary. Please note that failing to notify us and arriving without the required paperwork may prevent your marriage from proceeding.
A. Yes, it will, provided you complete all the necessary legal paperwork and procedures. When a legally conducted wedding ceremony is registered in the country where it takes place and is recognized by the UK. However, blessings, vow renewals, and commitment ceremonies are not legally recognized in either the country you choose to marry in or the UK. This applies to British Citizens, if you are not a British citizen, we advise contacting your relevant Embassy or Consulate to confirm the specific requirements for marriage abroad.
A. In some destinations, marriage certificates are not issued immediately after the wedding and may not be available for you to take home before your return. In these cases, you will be sent the documents to you as soon as they are ready.
